    官官相衛動起來，顯示圖片變動態，朋友運從此更亨通

    原來的 Windows Live Messenger 已經支援讓網友下載主題封包來使用動態的顯示圖片，但是製作一個動態的顯示圖片對一般人的使用門檻較高，所以 Windows Live Messenger 9.0 除了支援原本的動態顯示圖片之外，也開放網友使用 GIF 動畫圖片檔，讓網友的顯示圖片輕鬆動起來，不僅如此，還有更酷的『情緒名稱』功能，讓網友可以對著網路攝影機擠眉弄眼拍個 5 張可以對應表情符號的自拍照，只要在聊天時使用您所設定的表情圖案，顯示圖片就會同步更換成您所自己拍攝並設定為該表情的照片，讓聊天更有趣，愛酷敢現秀自己！
